New Parliament 810 carries Dotfloor's highest level of warranty coverage. This page sets out exactly what is covered, for how long, and how to make a claim.

Which products are covered

This warranty applies to every color in the New Parliament 810 collection — 62.6" × 9" × 8 mm, 30 mil wear layer, SPC rigid core with attached Klein Blue IXPE backing:

Coverage requires that the flooring was purchased from an authorized dealer and installed and used as intended.

What is covered

• The 30 mil wear layer will not wear through the decorative surface
• Will not stain from normal household consumable items such as food or drink
• Will not stain from pet accidents, provided they are cleaned immediately upon discovery
• Will not fade as a result of direct sunlight or household lighting
• Will be resistant to damage from normal household spills
• Defects in material and workmanship in the original manufactured condition

What is not covered

• Scratches, indentations, or reduction in gloss level — these are not considered wear
• Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, or improper installation or maintenance
• Flooring that the purchaser or installer knew, or could reasonably be supposed to have known, was defective before installation
• Any attempt to repair or replace the flooring without our consent, which voids this warranty
• Industrial applications
• Consequential or incidental damages — loss, expense, inconvenience or damage other than to the flooring itself

How claims are settled

Claims are settled on a pro-rated basis, determined by the number of years remaining on the warranty.

• Commercial (15 years): a claim made 3 years after purchase would be considered at 80% (12/15ths) of the flooring cost.
• Residential (Limited Lifetime): the pro-rated warranty applies for the first 30 years after the date of purchase. From 30 to 50 years, repair, replacement or refund is capped at 5% of the original flooring purchase amount.

How to make a claim

1. Notify the dealer you purchased from within 30 calendar days of discovering the defect, and within the validity period of this warranty.
2. Keep your original sales receipt as proof of purchase.
3. Your dealer can answer your questions and, if necessary, start to process the claim. We reserve the right to inspect the flooring and to remove samples for further evaluation.

Please do not attempt to repair or replace the flooring before your claim has been assessed — doing so voids this warranty.

Keeping your warranty valid

Follow the installation instructions and the care guidance for the floor. In short: sweep or vacuum regularly, damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner, wipe spills promptly, use felt pads under furniture legs, and avoid steam mops, abrasive cleaners and wax-based polishes.
