Rigorous Product Testing All Dotfloor flooring products are subjected to extensive laboratory testing across multiple performance categories: Wear Resistance: Each product is tested for surface durability to ensure it withstands heavy foot traffic, furniture movement, and daily wear over its rated lifespan. Water Resistance: Our vinyl flooring products are tested for moisture absorption, edge swelling, and dimensional stability when exposed to water, ensuring reliable performance in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Impact Resistance: Products are evaluated for their ability to resist dents, scratches, and damage from dropped objects, maintaining their appearance under real-world conditions. CARB Phase 2 Compliance: All composite materials used in our products meet the California Air Resources Board Phase 2 requirements for formaldehyde emissions, one of the strictest air quality regulations in the world. FloorScore® Certified: Dotfloor products are FloorScore certified by SCS Global Services, verifying that they meet strict indoor air quality emission standards and contribute to a healthier indoor environment. Third-Party Lab Testing To ensure impartiality and accuracy, Dotfloor partners with independent, accredited third-party laboratories for emissions testing. Formaldehyde and volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions are measured and verified to remain well within regulatory limits, giving you confidence that your flooring is safe for your family, employees, and customers. Batch-Level Quality Control Quality does not stop at product design. Each production batch is sampled and tested before shipment.
