Order Flooring Samples Before You Buy

Screens lie. Color reads differently under your own lighting, next to your own walls and furniture — which is why ordering a flooring sample is the cheapest insurance against a room-sized mistake.

Dotfloor samples let you check the exact plank you are considering: the embossed grain, the sheen level, the plank width, and how the tone shifts between daylight and lamp light.

What You Can Order

• Cut samples ($2.99) — a single plank cutting from one collection. Best when you have already narrowed down to one or two colors.
• Sample bundles ($9.99) — a full color range from one collection, so you can compare shades side by side.
• Full SKU strap sets — every color in a collection on one strap, for designers and contractors specifying a whole project.

Available across New Parliament 605, New Parliament 810, Empire 402, SuperOak Lite, SuperOak Plus, SuperOak Select, Planet Tile and our wood acoustic wall panels.

How to Choose Samples

1. Pick two or three shades, not ten. Too many options makes the decision harder, not easier.
2. View them in the actual room at different times of day. North-facing rooms pull color cooler.
3. Lay them against your fixed elements — cabinets, trim, doors. Those are not changing; the floor is.
4. Check the texture, not just the color. Run a hand across the surface — embossing and sheen affect how a floor reads far more than people expect.
