EMPIRE Collection Planks - 5.5mm SPC Click Lock -features a rigid Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) core that is waterproof. Its 0.3mm (12 mil) wear layer provides excellent scratch protection and wear resistance, making it an excellent choice for residential and light commercial applications. It is a pre-attached 1.5mm foam underpad that offers sound/noise reduction and added comfort when walking on the floor. Wire-brushed texturing and micro beveled edges create a premium finish. It’s an excellent choice for a seamless look that can flow throughout any room in your home including kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and even basements.
*Please note that although these floorboards themselves are waterproof, they cannot prevent moisture damage to your subfloor. Although these floors won’t incur damage from prolonged water exposure, your subfloor may be susceptible to mold and rot.
